A space to feel,

I offer a space to explore what’s troubling you, make sense of difficult experiences and develop a deeper understanding of yourself.

My approach

What is psychodynamic therapy?

Psychodynamic therapy offers a space to explore how past experiences and relationships may shape the way you feel, think and relate to others today. By gently noticing patterns and making sense of difficult feelings together, therapy can help you develop a deeper understanding of yourself and find new ways forward.

Frequently asked questions

What is counselling and how can it help me?

Counselling is a supportive space to explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours with a trained therapist. It can help you understand yourself better, navigate challenges and make meaningful changes in your life.

What can I expect at my first session?

During the initial consultation, we’ll talk about what has brought you to counselling, what you hope to gain and how we might work together. It’s also an opportunity to ask questions and get a feel for whether this approach feels right for you. The consultation lasts 60–75 minutes and costs £65.

Are our sessions confidential?

What you share is confidential, with some exceptions, such as a risk of serious harm to you or someone else, or where disclosure is legally required. I also discuss my work in regular professional supervision, without sharing identifying details about you. We can talk through any questions about confidentiality at the outset.

How many sessions will I need?

This varies from person to person. Some people find a few sessions helpful, while others benefit from longer-term therapy. We can review how the work is going together as we go along. I offer sessions in person in Epsom and online.
